Have you ever thought about learning how to weave on a peg loom...? Maybe you have sheep and have thought, "what can I make with my sheep's fleece?" Well, come join us for a hands-on workshop and learn this historic craft!
You'll learn the basics of fleece preparation, setting up a loom, weaving and finishing off your piece. By the end of the workshop you will have made a small seat pad or pet mat that you'll get to take home with you.
We offer two options when signing up for the workshop:
- Come along and have all materials and equipment provided - £50
- Come along and have all materials and equipment provided, but take the loom home with you at the end of the session too - £80
Join us for a 3 hour workshop from 1:30-4:30pm at Wilshaw Village Hall (HD9 4DX).

Delivery
Delivery is £1.95 for lightweight orders up to 100g and £3.95 for all heavier orders, including soaps. Orders of £30 or more are free.
Local collection is also offered free for all orders, allowing you to collect your order from us directly if you live locally.

A big thanks to Lucy for organising a fabulous afternoon at Wilshaw Village Hall to teach us how to use a peg loom. Our group included people of all ages (from teens upwards) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Lucy is a great teacher and as well as providing us with information regarding sheep, wool and the history of looming, she enthusiastically guided us in achieving a sample piece to take home. As someone who enjoys crafting but no experience of using wool straight off the sheep then I can totally recommend this workshop. 😀.

What a fabulous course learning so much about this age old craft, wool and sheep. Loved it. Lucy is wonderful and full of information and a passion for sheep and how to create lovely items from their wool and milk. Can’t wait to undertake a larger loom project now I have the knowledge.
