Workshop Cancellation Policy

Specific Date Workshops:

A full refund is available if you need to cancel more than 2 weeks before your workshop date. Please just let me know as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel between 2 weeks and 72 hours before your workshop date, a 50% refund of the workshop fee will be given . However, if I am able to fill your place then the remaining 50% will also be refunded. I will do my best to fill any gaps, but of course there are no guarantees. If you have opted to purchase a peg loom then this money will always be refunded in full.

Any cancellation within 72 hours of the workshop will incur the full cost of the workshop fee as I will have no option but to run the session even if numbers fall below the minimum. If you have opted to purchase a peg loom then this money will still be refunded in full.

Minimum numbers for peg loom workshops are 4, with a maximum of 6, and for soap making workshops the minimum is 2, with a maximum of 4. If minimum numbers are not met then an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.

Minimum numbers , and if the minimum number of people hasn't been met then an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.

Private Group Booking Workshops:

A full refund is available if you need to cancel more than 2 weeks before your workshop date. Please just let me know as soon as possible. It is also possible to move the date of your booking within this time period.

Moving the date within 2 weeks of your workshop may be possible, but this cannot be guaranteed if external venues, such as village halls, have been booked. Every effort will be made to accommodate changes where possible, but a hall hire fee of £30 may apply in these cases.

If you need to cancel the entire workshop within 2 weeks of your date, a 75% refund of the total workshop fee will be given.

If just one person from your group needs to cancel within this time period, but the rest of the group (minimum of 2 people) still attend, then a 50% refund of that person's fee will be issued. Swapping attendees is absolutely fine and carries no charge.

If I have to cancel...

If I ever need to cancel a workshop due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will notify you as soon as I am able to by email, and telephone if I have a number for you. You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. This would only ever be a last resort, but please bear in mind that I'm just one person, and only human. If you're booking accommodation or have travel expenses then unfortunately I cannot be responsible for those additional costs.
