Whitefaced Woodland & Ouessant Wool Yarn

We are so excited to have had our first batch of Whitefaced Woodland and Ouessant blend yarn spun by the wonderful Halifax Spinning Mill

The result is a lovely light grey speckled yarn made using 100% natural rare breed wool

The coloured fleeces come from a small flock of Ouessant sheep in Todmorden - they are native to northern France and are the world's smallest breed of sheep!

It is woollen spun to keep it's natural springiness

DK weight and 2-ply construction

Each skein is 100g and approximately 240yds

This is not only 100% British wool, but 100% Yorkshire wool too!
